Do or Do Not—There Is No Try!

...as Master Yoda put it so succinctly. It's time now to put it all together: the world, the characters, their problems and motivations and the trouble they get themselves into. The conflict and plot. The resolution that the plot points to.

The beginning, middle, and the end. Now...

Write a complete short story from beginning to end.

If you've already begun one that you want to finish, by all means do so.

If you're stuck getting started, browse through your ideas file. Look at some of the characters you've sketched. Or go to the Quick Launch section and use one of the starter suggestions there.

SAVE your work frequently—and always make a backup!
